We respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your Biblity account and associated data.
Important Information Before You Delete Your Account
Please read the following carefully before proceeding with account deletion:
β οΈ What will happen when you delete your account:
- Your account will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered
- All personal data associated with your account will be permanently removed from our servers
- Your reading history, bookmarks, highlights, and saved preferences will be deleted
- Any active subscriptions will be cancelled immediately
- You will lose access to all premium features
Your data will be handled as follows:
- Personal identification data will be deleted within 30 days
- Reading activity logs and usage data will be anonymized and may be retained for analytics purposes only
- Payment information will be deleted according to payment processor retention policies
- Backups containing your data may take up to 90 days to be fully purged from our systems
How to Request Account Deletion
You have three options to request account deletion:
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Fastest)
- Open the Biblity app on your device
- Go to Settings β Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your identity by entering your password
- Review the information about data deletion
- Tap Yes, delete my account and all my data
- Your account will be deleted immediately
Option 2: Web Form (Recommended)
Fill out the form below to request account deletion. This is the fastest and most secure way to delete your account.
This action cannot be undone
Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data. Please make sure this is what you want.
Option 3: Apple App Store
If you made your purchase through the App Store and subscribed using Apple ID, you can also manage subscriptions and request account deletion through:
- iPhone/iPad: Settings β [Your Name] β Subscriptions
- Remove your Biblity subscription
- Then email us at
support@appityhq.comto request full account deletion
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I recover my account after deletion? A: No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Please make sure you want to delete your account before confirming.
Q: Will my data be immediately deleted? A: Your account and most personal data will be deleted immediately. However, some data may be retained in backups for up to 90 days for security and legal compliance purposes.
Q: What about data retention for legal/tax purposes? A: We may retain certain data as required by law for tax and accounting purposes, but this data will be kept separately and securely.
Q: How long will the deletion process take? A: In-app deletion is immediate. Form/email requests are processed within 7 business days.
Q: Will my email be available for a new account? A: Yes, after your account is fully deleted, you can create a new account with the same email address.
Q: What if I have an active subscription? A: Any active subscription will be cancelled immediately upon account deletion. Depending on your payment terms, you may be eligible for a refund. Please contact our support team.
